Why and for what purposes are we processing personal data?
We handle personal information in our operations to enable our operations.
We use our customers’ information for customer relationship, assignments and to ensure that we are not disqualified to take a case. Data processing is based on an agreement with the customer.
We handle the information of our employees for the purpose of fulfilling the employer’s obligations. Data processing is based on an agreement.
On our website, visitors’ information is processed for the development of our site. For example, we may track the number of visitors to your site or learn what keyword a visitor has reached our site. From which sources do we collect personal information?
As a rule, all information is collected from the data subject himself. Thus, information about customer relationships or assignments is basically obtained from our client and employee information from our employees themselves.
To whom do we share your information?
We will only disclose your information to the parties for whom it is required to perform the service you have ordered.
Your information may be disclosed to the university of applied sciences or university in which you have applied through us.
In addition, your information may be handed over to the Finnish immigration authorities for the purpose of submitting and obtaining a residence permit application.
Nonetheless, legislation or regulatory requirements may in certain circumstances require disclosure. In these cases, each request for disclosure is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Is my information processed in third countries?
Due to the nature of our operations and the location of universities of applied sciences and universities, we need to disclose your information in the European Union to the country where the university of applied sciences or university you are applying for is located. Data transfers generally take place in Finland.
How do we take care of protecting your information?
Your information will be protected in all situations. All of your information is stored in encrypted form and is not accessible to third parties. We take care of information security with modern technical methods, including encryption of information, firewall, security software, encrypted connection and backup.
How long will we keep the data?
When evaluating your data retention period we take into account the purpose of the data processing. Data will be deleted when they are no longer necessary for our operations or customer relationship management.
What rights do you have?
In principle, your rights are governed by Moroccan law.
However, if we disclose your data in the European Union, such as in Finland, your rights will be determined by the European Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, GDPR.
